This is an amazing idea--thank for setting up this blog!

At the beginning of the conference, I wasn't sure what to expect, but I kept saying to Jesus, "Don't let me miss anything!" As usual, he came through :)

He challenged me to trust him with some big, exciting events coming up in my life (things I'm soooo tempted to micro-manage) and then introduced me to some cool women who already feel like friends. By the time I left the conference, I was pretty excited about running my race :)

The whole weekend was a great reminder of how powerful God is, and how much he cares about connecting us to himself and to one another. Thanks for making it possible!

I'll make it short. Thank you for being so Kingdom of God focused, so Vineyard in your ministry and preaching and worship, so mosaic and multi-faceted in the display of the preaching gifts of our women from one text, so loving and so missional. Everything was excellent and our team came away refreshed and empowered!

I had such a great time. At first quite skeptical, having never been to a women's only conference, but I found there was much freedom in only being amongst the women. What impacted me the most was how a spoken truth seemed to make the room explode in His presence. So happy to be taught by mature women who love God and encourage us to do the stuff too. A day after I came home, I realized that I had been healed during the conference. It was something I didn't even ask for and it surprised me when I realized "hey, that "thing" isn't bothering me anymore" God is good and I can't wait for 2010's get together.

Run It 2 (like Run It one) was the kind of conference that not only satisfies the longings of the moment for intense worship, powerful prayer, and the closeness of God's presence, but also provided life-changing intersections of God's truth with my life to bring growth for the next weeks and months (and years?) to come!

Specifically, God began to soften my heart for the poor (again) through the presentation of Anita Frederick from Oak Park Vineyard. I was afraid to go the the Compassion and Care for the Poor track, but God gently led me to just sit and listen, and I was moved to repentance of my hardness of heart! I am asking Him to show me what is next.

I was also moved powerfully by the declarations of unity and the humble repentance declared to all our sisters of color. I pray the declarations of truth will seep deeply in all our hearts as we grow in unity and strength of our diversity.

It was wonderful to see God touch some of my friends in just the way they needed! I pray that He continues to work out the healing and freedom He has started! I want to hear more from them!

The meat I am still chewing on is the whole idea of "running my race as TO WIN!" Wow, I think I had disqualified myself, thinking "How can I possibly compete against these runners surrounding me?" But now I realize that I am not competing AGAINST my sisters, but I am running my OWN race as if I intend to WIN!! Powerful, but I am still pondering that one.

Wonderful stuff--I want to see stories from everyone who reads this!!
